Due to the nature of free tickets, about half of the folks who reserve tickets don't use them.  Additionally, about half of the people we make tickets AVAILABLE to don't ever reserve them.

So, we need to take a LOT of ticket requests in order to ensure that we are able to provide the audience that production has asked us to bring.

When folks decline their tickets close to the show taping, we continue down the waitlist approving tickets.  However, because these approvals are relatively short notice, many of them don't get claimed, which means that we need to accept more ticket requests the closer it gets to the taping date.  We continue processing tickets on the waitlist until typically about 24 hours before a taping.

Additionally, shows may display as "Open," but you might not receive a ticket, because some shows are in a more constant flux of folks declining tickets, and others reserving theirs.  The system automatically continues to accept requests if even ONE ticket is still available to be claimed, but we still process tickets in the order they are received, so your request may be near the end of the waitlist.

You will be notified via email if your request is approved.
